- inthefarqueue Added May 30, 2021★ ★ ★ ★ ★We have had a split and ducted system in our house for 12 years, about five years ago the installers (NOT Hawkesbury Refrigeration) came and did what they claimed was a "service".
Today we had Jarrod come to our home, he was very good at what he did, he explained everything to us and even went a step further than he should have by putting some silicon in some holes he found in our corrugated roof and moved some insulation around to make our ducted system work better.
The split system needed a really good clean, Jarrod did that and explained to me what I needed to do tomorrow in order to get rid of some dog hair/ cob webs when the system dries out.
Jarrod then made an inspection of the internal split system, showing us the dust build and explaining how he would need to clean it.
Hawkesbury Refrigeration you have done well employing Jarrod, better still he had an apprentice with him, who, I hope, is learning the same things from Jarrod.
Despite doing twice as much work as was done during the last service (by another company) the bill was only half the price!

Did not know what brand of AC was in the house or what condition or when (if ever) it had been serviced. Technicians arrived on time and got straight into it. Filters were filthy but did their job and rest of system was serviced without issues, despite it being somewhat DIY'd during the original installation by previous people. Technical issues with the unit were fixed promptly and after the service it feels like the north pole but smells lovely and fresh instead of the "wet dog" odour it had before. Very impressed and very happy. Reasonable prices. Office staff were very accommodating of my scheduling needs. Highly recommend giving them a call
